1. Introduction

At Lumlex Jewelry, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and the procedures for returning products purchased through our website.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under Irish or European Union consumer protection law.

2. Right to Cancel

If you purchase goods through our website, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you receive your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us by email or another clear written statement before the 14-day cancellation period expires.

After notifying us, you must return the goods within 14 days.

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must:

Be unused and unworn.
Be returned in their original condition.
Include the original packaging where reasonably possible.
Include any accessories, tags or documentation supplied with the product.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. However, if the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics or functioning, we may deduct an appropriate amount from your refund, as permitted by law.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty, incorrect or not as described, the following items cannot be returned:

Personalised jewellery.
Custom-made or made-to-order items.
Products manufactured to your specific requirements.
Earrings or other products sealed for hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken or the item has been worn, where applicable.
Gift cards, where applicable.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

Your order number.
A description of the issue.
Clear photographs showing the problem.

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged before delivery or incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law, which may include:

Repair.
Replacement.
Full or partial refund.

Where required by law, Lumlex Jewelry will cover the reasonable return shipping costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied products.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds will normally be issued within 14 days after:

We receive the returned goods; or
You provide satisfactory evidence that the goods have been returned,

whichever occurs first, where required by applicable law.

Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.

7. Return Shipping Costs

If you return an item because you changed your mind under your statutory cancellation rights, you are responsible for the return shipping costs unless we agree otherwise.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, particularly for higher-value items, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by us.

If your return is due to our error or because the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will reimburse the reasonable return shipping costs.

8. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product, please contact us before returning the item.

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer an alternative or process a refund where appropriate.
